The S-Cutter Sprue Runner Return System eliminates the use of sizing screens and the problems associates with screens.

When sprue/runners are removed from the injection molder via a robot, sprue picker or conveying system, they are fed directly into the S-Cutter which cuts the sprues/runners to a uniform size granule. Quality of the granules is excellent with practically no dust, very few fines and no longs.
The granules vay in size from 4mm to 9mm depending on the model used. Benefits include:

 The Granulators large "S" shaped cutters rotate on a single shaft to first break up long sections of sprues and runners...directing the pieces towards  smaller cutters along the shaft. The coarse pieces are then ground to size between small rotating cutter teeth that intermesh with stationary cutters. The granules fall through the gaps between the teeth into a collector bin after reaching a specific size.        

NEW Multi-Edged Cutters Prolong Cutter Life

Usnitechi's S-Cutter granulators have been updated to include new multi-edged cutters. This new cutter design allows the cutting edges to be flipped over and reinstalled in the machine until all the cutting edges have been used. This dramatically saves on blade replacement costs and helps eliminate downtime.
